How do I close my Cleo Invest account?

Can I close my Cleo Invest account in the app?

Yes, here’s how:

  1. Select the options menu at the top right

  2. Select Close account

  3. Select the bank account to send any remaining funds to

What if I have pending deposits?

Pending deposits need to clear before your account can close, so closing may take longer than usual.

What happens to my investments?

Your investments are sold when the market is next open. This may result in gains or losses and may have tax consequences, which are your responsibility. Once liquidation begins it cannot be canceled or reversed. Sale proceeds generally settle 1 business day after the trade before the balance is returned to your linked bank account.
