Can I transfer my investments in or out of Smart Investing?

What you want to know how to move money

Transferring a portfolio between brokerages, known as an ACATS transfer, isn't supported right now.

To add money, you can make a cash deposit. To take money out, you can withdraw from your portfolio. Because transfers out are not supported, withdrawing money from your account or closing your account means your investments will be sold, which may have tax consequences.
