What information do I need to provide?
Before your investing account can be opened, Atomic has a legal and regulatory obligation to verify your identity. This also helps prevent fraud and financial crime.
You'll usually be asked for:
Your Social Security Number (SSN)
Date of birth
Home address
Employment information
Affiliations such as being a public official, having significant ownership or control in a publicly traded company, or being affiliated with the securities industry
Sometimes Atomic needs more. That can include:
Government ID: U.S. Passport, state-issued Driver's License, or state-issued ID card (must be valid and unexpired)
Proof of address: utility bill, bank or credit card statement, mortgage statement, or lease agreement from the last 3 to 6 months, showing full address
Proof of Tax ID: Social Security card, recently filed tax returns, or IRS-issued tax document showing full SSN
Liveness check: front, left, and right-facing live selfies
